The Washington Post reports that Iran and Saudi Arabia are joining in a show of cooperation in the war against terror: Iran has ostensibly handed over a group of Saudi al Qaeda terrorists, escaped from Afghanistan, to Saudi Arabia for questioning. However much reality this story may have, it is revealing that both Iran and Saudi Arabia feel the need to seek favor with the United States and, specifically, the Bush administration. Regardless of the whining of domestic Democrats, they know where power lies and are well aware that the President’s desire for regime change may begin with Iraq, but does not end there.
