Reader John Richardson has kindly forwarded this article from today’s Washington Post: “Most support atack on Iraq, with allies.” The article summarizes poll results with the following conclusion: “Nearly 6 in 10 Americans said they would endorse military action to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein over the objections of the U.N. Security Council if the United States is supported by close allies such as Britain, Australia and Italy.”
