Tyson cuts a deal

Isaiah Tyson, that is, one of three defendants charged with the murder of 12-year-old Tyesha Edwards. We wrote about Tyesha’s murder in the “Silence of the Liberals” column linked under our publications on the left. Today Tyson cut a deal that includes no agreement requiring him to testify against his codefendants and that could spring him from prison in about 30 years, when he would be 51. The punishment does not fit the crime; it’s too lenient. The Star Tribune story provides no explanation for the lack of an agreement regarding his testimony. The story is “Tyesha slaying suspect makes deal, pleads guilty.”
