Support For War Grows

On a happier note, the New York Times headlines: “Growing Number in U.S. Back War, Survey Finds.” The article reports on a New York Times / CBS News poll indicating that 55% now support an invasion of Iraq without U.N. backing, while 58% say the U.N. is doing a “poor” job of managing the Iraq crisis.
The Times article is devoted mainly to trying to spin these and other numbers in a negative direction, and I haven’t had time to study the raw data–always necessary when talking about polls–but the headline pretty much says it all.
