How “The Wall” Hamstrung the FBI

Our friend Kathy Kersten has an excellent summary of how thirty years of liberalism eroded the FBI’s ability to combat terrorism: “If FBI missed chances, blame liberals.” As one FBI agent wrote in an email, days before the September 11 hijackings: “Someday someone will die — and wall or not — the public will not understand why we we’re not . . . throwing every resource at terrorists.”
