Mr. ab Hugh submits

The improbably named but always alert Dafydd ab Hugh submits for your consideration this interesting column in today’s Washington Times: “The leftist/fascist ‘peace’ coalition.” Mr. ab Hugh draws our attention to the concluding comments: “Are the left really fascists in disguise? Hardly. But in this
complex equation, they apparently would prefer the maintenance of fascism in Iraq, and elsewhere, rather than sit idly by and watch another stunning victory by America and the likes of George W. Bush.”
As a companion piece from the same paper this morning I would add its editorial: “The impending war.”
