The Daschle dementia

George Will characterizes Senator Daschle’s comments on President Bush as “a descent into absurdity.” Hugh Hewitt’s harsher characterizations seem to hit somewhat closer to the mark, but Will also invokes relevant history to explore the roots of the Daschle dementia. His column is “The right course.”
To round out our consideration of Senator Daschle this morning on a humorous note, let us bring Jonah Goldberg into the mix: “Saddened by Daschle’s anti-war statement.”
