Action in Afghanistan Too

The war on terror continues on many fronts. One thousand troops from the 82nd Airborne have launched a raid on villages and caves in southeastern Afghanistan, searching for al Qaeda forces. This is the biggest military operation in Afghanistan in over a year. Apparently it was prompted at least in part by radio transmissions intercepted from caves; intelligence from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed may also be involved.
