The requirements of strategic defense

Professor emeritus Harold Rood of Claremont McKenna College is a strategic thinker of the first order. It is something of an understatement to say that his considerations of the issue at hand, whatever it happens to be, take the long view.
The Claremont Institute has asked Professor Rood to address the war, and Professor Rood brings his characteristic analytic strengths to an essay you won’t want to miss: “The war for Iraq: A study in world politics.”
