Everything you always wanted to know…

about “The World Turned Upside Down.” Reader Joshua Sharf kindly wrote to correct my memory about the use of this old folk tune during the Revolutionary War; the song was played by the Brits (not the Americans) at Yorktown. In checking out Joshua’s correction I came across a site devoted to everything you always wanted to know about the song, including a performance of the song (without the lyrics).
