This is frankly a bit weird. Pfc. Lynch’s family says, after talking to her doctor, that–contrary to what was announced by the commander of the hospital where she is being treated–Lynch was, in fact, shot: “The wounds were found during treatment of her left leg and right arm for fractures and were ‘consistent with low-velocity, small-caliber rounds,’ such as a small rifle or handgun, said Dan Little, Lynch cousin.”
If medical personnel are unclear on whether or not she has gunshot wounds, the family may want to consider getting a second opinion.
