When klezmer met salsa

After the Times’ article on Harold Bloom, this weekend’s must-read arts feature is the Washington Post’s story on Roberto Rodriguez. Fans of the Blues Brothers will recognize the kind of mission Mr. Rodriguez is on as he blends Jewish and Cuban music. Although we’re not quite halfway through April, I’m also awarding the Post headline writer our prize for best of the month: “When klezmer met salsa.” (Courtesy of Oxblog.)
