I don’t think we’re at the point yet where Bill Clinton can officially be called a traitor, but he certainly is making a career out of giving aid and comfort to our enemies. The odd thing about Clinton is that, for a man who has the reputation of being highly articulate, it is often hard to figure out what in the world he is talking about. For example:
“We can’t run,” Clinton pointed out. “If you got an interdependent world, and you cannot kill, jail or occupy all your adversaries, sooner or later you have to make a deal.”
Huh? What deal is he talking about? A deal with Saddam Hussein? A deal with Jacques Chirac? With Osama bin Laden? Strange as it seems, Clinton seems utterly unable to grasp the elemental reality that we have enemies who must be fought. Which I guess sheds some light on why, when he was President, he never did fight them.
