Ann Coulter on Abu Abbas

Somehow I missed Ann Coulter’s column on the re-capture of Abu Abbas. Ann reminds us of the horrific particulars of the hijacking of the Achille Lauro, led by Abbas, and of the murder of Leon Klinghoffer. She also reminds us that, thanks to a plan devised by Oliver North, the hijackers were waylaid by Navy Tomcats as they were escaping from Egypt in 1985.
North’s plan was outlined for President Reagan, who immediately approved it: “‘Good God! They’ve murdered an American here. Let’s get on with it.” Which reminds us how much President Bush resembles President Reagan.
