Krauthammer on the Shiite “quagmire”

Charles Krauthammer puts the Iraqi Shiite demonstrations in perspective. The demonstrators “represent a highly organized minority, many of whom are affiliated with, infiltrated by and financed by Tehran.” They pose a threat but one that, in Krauthammer’s view, we can overcome if we act decisively and without interference from “foreign latecomers and meddlers.”
