The memoirs of Sid Vicious

The memoirs of the execrable Sidney (“Sid Vicious”) Blumenthal cover his formal service to Bill and Hillary Clinton as a member of the White House staff. The book weighs in at 822 pages — one reason I don’t think I’ll be reading it during this lifetime. But by far the most interesting piece I found on the Web this morning is Joseph Lelyveld’s review of Blumenthal’s book for the New York Review of Books: “In Clinton’s court.”
