Having commented just a few days ago on the burgeoning nude-protest movement, which has spread to everything from farming to fox hunting, we would be remiss if we failed to note that the movement has now reached bullfighting. This year at Pamplona, animal rights activists attempted to stage a nude run along the path soon to be followed by the bulls. Alas, they were stopped by alert policemen. Still no explanation, however, of what nudity has to do with bullfighting.
I am linking to this photo rather than posting it as some readers would be taken aback to encounter it with their morning coffee. And since lots of readers check Power Line at work, we wouldn’t want to give their co-workers the wrong idea. Fair warning.
UPDATE: The photo has now been removed from Yahoo News Photos, presumably because it was too racy, since the other Pamplona protest pics are still available. So, if you missed it over the weekend, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
