California scheming

The California Democratic operative whom Hugh Hewitt dubs Yosemite Sam and who takes a weekly drubbing from Hugh on his show makes an appearance in John Fund’s interesting column on the California recall shenanigans: “Gray to fade.” But OpinionJournal has also posted a terrific column by Matthew Gurewitsch on a phenomenon of which California can be proud: a partly signed, partly sung production of the musical adaptation of Huckleberry Finn, “Big River.” The column is “Gestures bring Twain to life.”
