Far from the madness of daily headlines, the real news is that the war on terror is going well. We are a day late in noting this important development in Indonesia: “Indonesia Makes Major Breakthrough in Fight Against Terrorism.”
Seven members of Jemaah Islamiyah were captured or killed, and large quantities of explosives were seized in two locations. One chilling discovery was a schedule of services at Christian churches, raising the concern that JI may have been planning a new series of attacks like the Christmas Eve church bombings of 2000.
