The Sunday Times Book Review features David Brooks’ review of the new book on West Point by Rolling Stone writer David Lipsky. Earlier this week we posted a profile of Lipsky from the Jewish weekly Forward. The book is Absolutely American and the review is “Culture War at West Point.” The book sounds like a must-read.
The appropriate companion piece to this review is another, slightly obnoxious review of what sounds like an extremely interesting book. The book, Beyond Glory, profiles 24 Medal of Honor winners in their own words. The review is from tomorrow’s Washinton Post Book World: “Brave Hearts.”
