Thinking about the Bush Doctrine

The Center of the American Experiment has just posted its symposium on the Bush doctrine that is carried in the forthcoming issue of the American Experiment Quarterly: “The Bush Doctrine: A Preemptive Path to Peace or a Recipe for Perpetual War?” The linked index includes links to individual contributions in both text and PDF formats, though the links below are to the PDF format.
Among the contributors are Senator Norm Coleman, John Haynes, and Claremont Institute chairman Bruce Sanborn. My own modest contribution is “After Containment.” Among the several contributors expressing thoughtful qualms are Heather Mac Donald and St. Paul Pioneer Press columnist D.J. Tice.
