Stay tuned for the Bush blog

Blogger wunderkind Patrick Ruffini has written to advise us of the kickoff of the official Bush re-election Web site. What’s so special about that? Ruffini signs off his message as Webmaster for Bush-Cheney ’04 and asks us to “Stay tuned for the official Bush-Cheney ’04 blog in the months to come!” According to Ruffini, the site has a running list of news releases (launched today) intended for bloggers. Ruffini adds:
“Some of the features you will find on GeorgeWBush.com include:
* President Bush’s Agenda. GeorgeWBush.com contains detailed issue specific action areas for visitors to quickly get the information they want, and easily use that information to take action by writing news editors, calling talk radio programs, emailing friends, registering to vote, ordering an absentee ballot, or donating. Check it out at: www.GeorgeWBush.com/Agenda/.
* Buttons and Banners for Your Blog. Link to GeorgeWBush.com with your choice of Bush-Cheney ’04 logo graphics at www.GeorgeWBush.com/WStuff/.
* Photo Album. Extensive photo galleries of President Bush, Vice President Cheney, First Lady Laura Bush, and Mrs. Lynne Cheney feature compelling photos that are easily forwarded to friends and family at www.GeorgeWBush.com/News/PhotoAlbum.aspx.”
I’m not sure what this adds up to, but I did learn from the site that Ralph Reed has been designated the campaign’s regional chairman for Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida and that Vin Weber has been designated the campaign’s regional chairman for North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa.
