They Should Read Their Own Newspaper

Minneapolis Star Tribune news story dated August 29, titled “Drivers Face Labor Day Jams, Gas Prices”:
“Despite higher gas prices, millions of Americans hit the road Friday for the last getaway of the summer in what was expected to be the busiest Labor Day weekend in eight years. AAA predicted 33.4 million Americans would travel at least 50 miles from home this weekend, the highest number since 1995.”
Minneapolis Star Tribune editorial dated September 1, titled “Labor Day / Subdued Economy, Subdued Holiday”:
“[F]or many Americans, this will be a subdued holiday, a time for staying close to home and counting modest blessings….For today is a Labor Day without labor, celebrated in an economy that cannot seem to create jobs.”
