Through a glass darkly

The New York Times story on the Yale service workers strike by bigfoot reporter Steven Greenhouse is less informative than James Kirchick’s Yale Daily news column to which we linked yesterday, but at least it quotes Kirckick and the key players: “Yale University and workers’unions are at it again.” It is amazing what Greenhouse has seen fit to leave out, and a great example of how virtually every Times news story filters the news through a lens as idiosyncratic as a Bergman film.
