This account of how left-wing “religious” and “women’s” groups have ganged up on Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a smear campaign that has obviously been closely coordinated with the Los Angeles Times, is sickening. Just when you think the Democratic Party can’t sink any lower, it does.
Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani is campaigning with Arnold–which means, I suspect, a lot more than the endorsement of “women’s” groups who selectively condemn Republicans while defending Bill Clinton’s right to assault his employees in the Oval Office.
I haven’t had time yet to comment on the latest outrage from Minnesota’s Democratic Party, which, like the California branch, has descended to a level of gutter politics that would have been considered unthinkable a few short years ago. More on this tomorrow.
