Yale vs. U.S. Military, Round 2
The folks at FrontPage asked me to turn my Power Line pieces on the treatment of Judge Advocate General military recruiters at university law schools ("Freedom's freeloaders" and "Notes on freedom's freeloaders") into a column. I got angry all over again doing so last night, but the piece is up this morning: "Yale vs. U.S. Military, Round 2."
Here's the lede: "When Navy Judge Advocate General recruiter Brian Whitaker visited Yale Law School on October 9 to meet with students interested in serving as Navy lawyers, his reception was not unlike that of the man who was tarred and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail; if it weren't for the honor of the thing, he’d probably rather have passed on it."
