The Times On Partial Birth Abortion

The New York Times reports on President Bush’s signing of the partial birth abortion ban yesterday; its article is titled “For G.O.P., Abortion Bill Signing Is a Moment.” The article is mostly fair enough, although the reporter is, like most “choice” advocates, too squeamish to actually describe what is being chosen. She focuses, appropriately, on the “incremental” strategy now being followed by abortion opponents, and then concludes gratuitously with this: “Which, of course, leads to the ultimate incrementalist strategy
