The wedding in London

Amir Taheri has an important piece on National Review Online regarding the protests greeting President Bush in London: “The London streets.”
Taheri writes that Bush’s visit will witness “a bizarre political marriage: one between the remnants of the Marxist-Leninist Left and militant Islamists. Negotiated over the past two years, the ‘wedding,’ will be celebrated in a mass demonstration against Bush’s visit.”
Taheri provides the evidence supporting his observation and makes it clear that attendance is by invitation only.
