Innovation continues at the Miss World competition in China. The pageant is holding a series of five preliminary contests, beginning with Miss Beach Beauty. Now Miss Sport 2003 has been crowned; she is Miss Canada, in the middle in the photo below:

And, in response to Deacon’s slanderous suggestion that I am “preoccupied with” girls in bikinis, let me point out that there is not a single bikini in that photo!
DEACON responds: My actual description of the preoccupation was with “girls who aren’t wearing much.” The photo above leaves room for argument on that score. In any case, I certainly didn’t mean to suggest that this preoccupation is less than salutary, much less that Rocket Man should refrain from these kinds of postings.
