The editor of my favorite periodical assigned me a book he thought I could handle for its great winter 2003 issue — Micah Sifry’s Spoiling For A Fight: Third-Party Politics in America. Neither the book (though it’s not bad) nor the review warranted much space, but I’m proud the review is there in the table of contents and available online: “The party’s not over.”
