Strange man on a white horse

Hugh Hewitt links to this report from the Concord (New Hampshire) Monitor quoting Wesley Clark as saying, among other deranged things, “If I’m president of the United States, I’m going to take care of the American people. We are not going to have one of these [terrorist] incidents.” How can Clark be so certain? Because “Nothing is going to hurt this country – not bioweapons, not a nuclear weapon, not a terrorist strike – there is nothing that can hurt us if we stay united and move together and have a vision for moving to the future the right way.” And if the vision thing fails, Clark will beat the s**t out of anyone who tries to hurt this country.
As I said earlier today, Clark is as loopy as Dean, and cannot survive the scrutiny he’ll receives if he moves near the front of the pack.
