Aaron Weaver, RIP

Among the nine soldiers killed in the attack on the Black Hawk helicopter in Iraq last week was Chief Warrant Officer Aaron Weaver, a man of extraordinary dedication and courage. The New York Times report makes for painful reading: “Survivor of Somalia and cancer dies on doomed helicopter in Iraq.”
