President Bush: HBS MBA

Thomas Lifson of American Thinker attended Harvard Business School at the same time as President Bush. He thinks that the effect of the President’s education has been underestimated, and has posted a thoughtful analysis of the possible impact of President Bush’s MBA on decision making in the Bush administration: “GWB: HBS MBA.” Lifson concludes his post with the following observations:

By reputation, the President was a very avid and skillful poker player when he was an MBA student. One of the secrets of a successful poker player is to encourage your opponent to bet a lot of chips on a losing hand. This is a pattern of behavior one sees repeatedly in George W. Bush
