Speaking of Weapons of Mass Destruction

With all of the attention focused on the presence or absence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, one would think that the actual discovery of such weapons would be a big news story. Imagine what a sensation it would be if a stockpile of biological weaponry sufficient to kill thousands of people were found in Baghdad. Let’s push the envelope even further–imagine that the toxic stash were found in a “safe house” used by the top al Qaeda officer in Iraq. That would be the news story of the year, wouldn’t it?
Well, no, I guess it wouldn’t. Because that’s exactly what happened:
