Thanks of a grateful nation…and beyond

Yesterday’s photos of President Reagan’s casket lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda document the thanks of a grateful nation and the worldwide impact of his service in the cause of freedom. We take the liberty of posting a few more photos as the funeral ceremony commences at the National Cathedral today.

This morning Navy personnel serving on the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, at anchor offshore Rio de Janeiro, held a ceremony in honor of the president. Below a Navy cadet salutes the flag waving behind the wreath placed on the carrier as part of the ceremony.
