For the Strib, with love and squalor

Our favorite Gary Larson is not the famous cartoonist or local judge, but rather the retired advertising man, magazine editor, lobbyist and all-around good guy. Despite the fact that he is now only a part-time Minnesotan, he remains a passionate critic of the Star Tribune.
Gary has forwarded us his response to the Star Tribune editorial that we posted below. Gary’s conclusion put me in mind of the wonderful Salinger story “For Esme, With Love and Squalor” — thus the heading, for which Gary is not responsible.

Leave it to juvenile Party organs to assert inaccuracies as truth, to assess blame solely on “the other side” if anything goes wrong. Star Tribune
