How long blues

I don’t agree with its thesis, but The New York Times Arts section has a good profile of the influential blues songwriter/performer Leroy Carr: “The bluesman who behaved too well.” You may be familiar with a few of Carr’s compelling songs through the work of Hot Tuna, the Grateful Dead, or Eric Clapton.
