whether other conservatives agree that giving Linda Ronstadt the bum’s rush for expressing her views on Michael Moore was over-the-top? Cancelling her act for mixing politics and show biz is one thing. It can be defended, I believe, on political and/or economic grounds. But throwing her off the property seems a bit much. Did the hotel claim it was for her own protection? If so, I suspect (and certainly hope) that was just a pretext. Nothing could lend more support to Michael Moore’s view of America than the notion of an angry Vegas mob fixing to lynch Linda Ronstadt. Come to think of it, that might be Moore’s next film.
