Among the heroes

Jere Longman’s Among the Heroes tells the story of the pilots’ resistance to the 9/11 hijacking and the passengers’ counterattack on the cockpit of United Flight 93 after it had been hijacked. I doubt the 9/11 Commission reports adds anything to our knowledge of the events, but I’m grateful for anything that helps prevent us from forgetting. Tomorrow’s New York Times runs a story with a brief account of Flight 93 as reconstructed by the commission: “Details emerge on Flight 93.” As Michelle Malkin instructs, “Read the whole thing and never forget.”
