An Innovation: Right-Wing Fashion
As you can imagine, I'm no dedicated follower of fashion. I am, however, an obsessive viewer of Yahoo News photographs, so occasionally I stumble across a fashion designer espousing a dumb left-wing message. One thing I've never seen, however, is a designer making a conservative political statement.
Spring 2005 fashions are now being previewed in Milan, so the news photos are full of fashion shots. This one caught my eye; it's by a designer named Trussardi. Click to enlarge:
There it is, folks: the first recorded instance of right-wing fashion.
