DEACON adds: The DNC is trying to enlist the government in an effort to shut down “Stolen Honor.” It is filing an FEC complaint alleging that, by airing this film, Sinclair Broadcasting is making an “illegal campaign contribution” to President Bush. The Democrats seem less concerned about protecting freedom of expression here, in a purely political context, than they are when it comes to limiting the power of the government to deal with suspected terrorists.
