Democratic spin, part III
Instapundit links to an analysis by one of Andrew Sullivan's readers showing that "there is no evidence that suggests that the strategy of putting the anti-marriage initiatives on the ballot in several states did anything to improve Bush's performance in those states." I also saw numbers on CNN showing that President Bush's percentage of the vote among non-churchgoers rose by a higher percentage than did his percentage of the vote among churchgoers. Does it surprise anyone that, in the midst of the war on terrorism and fighting in Iraq, gay marriage was not the overriding issue in this election?
