U.S. forces have stormed into the western part of Fallujah, taking control of the main city hospital and two key bridges. Here’s the report from Fox News. Before the start of the military campaign in Iraq, it was feared that we would have to engage in fierce urban fighting unlike any we’ve seen since Vietnam. We were able to conquer Iraq without such fighting, but now may be forced to engage in it.
