Omar and Mohammed Fadhil, the bloggers from Iraq the Model, visited President Bush at the White House yesterday, according to this report from American Faith. The meeting apparently lasted about half an hour, with the president using the time to learn the thoughts and opinions of Iraqi citizens. Having spoken myself to the brothers on Wednesday, I suspect that the president learned more about the situation on the ground in Iraq than he would have from a half hour of intelligence briefings.

CHRENKOFF corrects: A very minor point: Mohammed’s and Omar’s surname is actually Fadhil. Ali is the third brother.
