Patrick Phillips of I Want Media has kindly emailed us the link to his interview with Time managing editor Jim Kelly, who places us among distinguished company in the blogs of which he says he’s “a big fan”: “Jim Kelly: Time Magazine’s Person of the Year is a ‘Very Big Deal.'”
Man of the year? From Time’s institutional perspective, I think it has to be President Bush. From my personal perspective, I think it has to be The Un-Kerry: John O’Neill.
HINDROCKET adds: Of course, W is the man, and if Time selects anyone else it’s a joke. Still, Kelly says he’s a fan of ours, and it’s always possible that 2004 could turn out to be the Year of the Blog. But I’ll be very surprised if I wake up on Monday and see us on the cover.
