Luskin Rides Again

Sometimes I think the Washington Post publishes columns by E.J. Dionne solely so that Deacon can have fun demolishing them. Likewise, if Paul Krugman has a purpose in this universe, it is to provide all of us with the pleasure of watching Donald Luskin eviscerate him.
Today, Donald stomps all over poor Mr. Krugman, as well as the Washington Post, Brad DeLong and assorted other liberals who have misled their readers in connection with Social Security. Luskin begins:

Can it really be that leftist economists don’t know the difference between a margin account and an opportunity cost? It’s basic economics. But for Paul Krugman and his acolytes and fellow travelers, it’s really all about basic partisan politics.
