In the mail

I usually don’t mention books I get in the mail until/unless I’ve read them. However, I’m making an exception for Richard Posner’s Preventing Surprise Attacks because (a) I’ve profited from reading several of Judge Posner’s other books and many of his judicial opinions and (b) I’ve read and linked to his writing on the subject treated in his book.
On that basis, and having also read the Introduction, I’m looking forward to reading the book over Memorial Day weekend.
