Girding for the Coming Battle

Hugh Hewitt previews the tactics the left will use in opposing President Bush’s Supreme Court nominee, whoever it turns out to be. Hugh views Melody Townsel as the prototype the Democrats’ attack machine will follow. I’m afraid he is likely right; the only thing I would add is that the original Melody Townsel was Anita Hill.
It also occurs to me that one advantage of nominating Janice Brown is that it would narrow the range of topics for future Townsels to pursue.
