What the Court doesn’t need

The Standard has posted Paul’s brilliant column on the Supreme Court and what ails it: “Don’t try this at home.” Paul’s column is ostensibly devoted to criticizing the idea that the Court needs politicians or practitioners to join its ranks. At its heart, the column is a devastating critique of the Court’s refusal to apply the straightforward constitutional prohibition of racial discrimination to elite educational institutions.
