Hillary Clinton is tired

of “being at the mercy of people in the Middle East and elsewhere, and. . .of being at the mercy of these large oil companies.” So she told her constituents in Elmira Heights, according to the Washington Post. She also complained that in the past 30 years (including, presumably, the eight during which her husband was president) we have “gone backwards” with respect to solving the country’s long-term energy problem.
Does this mean that Senator Clinton will support drilling in the small portion of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge that sits on top of billions of barrels of oil? Will she support building and licensing nuclear power plants? Or will she just take shots at “big oil” and whine about how tired she is?
